Gotta Get It Outa Me!

Hi there friends old and new.

My name is Linda and I made this blog so that I can share with you some of my creativeness. I love scrapbooking and I seem to do a fair amount of it so I thought I would use a blog to share with you as I make new creations. I really hope you enjoy this.
Just bare with me as I try to work out how to set it all up. Still have no idea how to insert photos. Lol.

Ok, so the first few things I really want to share with you are a 30 Day craft challenge that I am doing through  Paper heart Design. Each day for 30 days we get a new theme. So far we are up to Day 6!

See what I've been doing so far.....

Day 2 Recycle

On day 2 I was thing about all the different things I could use on this project. I thought of using things around the house, things that are leftover scraps... and much more. What I finally made was a cute little gift tag.

What was recycled? Almost all of it....

I recycled (actually it was unused, just came outa the packet) a Libra pad wrapping which I glued to some card that I had already cut.
Then I coloured in a gorgeous mini Tilda using water colour pencils.
The light pink stripes at the top were off of some foam dot wrapping.
The brown/green ruffle is a die cut flower that ripped quite badly.
The dusty pink quilled roses are made from a McDonald's paper bag - awesome to use as it was so soft and pliable.
The leaves are leaves I had previously made. All they needed was the veins added which I did using an ink from Ingrid what-her-name, lol.

It was a fun and simple gift tag - -and a little unusual. I would never normally use something so bright as the wrapper but I like the finished product.

Day 1 Flourish!

For Day 1 I created a little flourish gift tag. I used a Kaszazz flourish stamp (which Im in love with), stamped it onto burgundy cardstock and cut around it. I then found some partially made flowers and finished them off and glued them to the top of the card. Then i found in my stash, some green leafy flourish that had been previously cut using a die and added it. Some bling and a ribbn to finish off and whalaaaa!
Pretty as a picture gift tag!

Ok, as it is now incredibly late (1.30am) and i can feel my medication kicking in, Ill leave the rest until tomorrow to share with you again.

Hope u enjoyed my first two project I shared.
Catch ya
